What are the benefits to registering with Brock Moran?   

Brock Moran offers a registrant the following registry benefits:

  • Registrants who create a Brock Moran gift registry valued at $2,000 or more, receive a $100 gift certificate. The certificate will be mailed directly to the registrant(s) after guest registry purchases reach $500.

  • Complimentary gift after creating a gift registry and meeting with one of our Registry Specialists.

  • A direct link (URL address) to your gift registry to add to your wedding website to direct guests to your registry.

  • Registrants  receive a 10% registry completion discount code valid up to six months after the event date on any remaining gift registry items. We encourage you to share the discount code with your guests to apply to online registry purchases. Purchases must have been made from the Gift Registry prior to the event date to be eligible for any of the "Registry Rewards."

 

Creating My Registry

 

How do I register?   

You may register online at anytime or in-person by making an appointment with one of your Registry Specialists.  To schedule an in-store appointment, contact us Monday thru Saturday 10 - 6 via telephone (704.341.6264) or send an email to info@brockmoran.com  and we will respond within 24 hours.  To register online, visit our website at brockmoran.com and click on The Registry link.  From the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button.  The welcome page contains Registry Instructions, our Registry Services Guide and a Wedding Registry Suggestions guide to help you in making your selections.

 

 

What events can I register for?   

We offer the ability to register for many types of events: Wedding, Commitment, Wish List, Special Occasion, Holiday, Graduation and House Warming. 

 

 

How do I add gifts to my registry?

This can be accomplished online or by visiting the Brock Moran store. To update your registry online, visit our website at brockmoran.com and click on The Registry link.  From the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button and then select Update Registry.  Find your registry by entering your name and login using your password.  From the "Welcome to your registry list" page, click on the Select products option.

Can special orders of furniture and accessories be added to my registry?

Yes, we would assist you in adding special order items to your registry, including items such as monogrammed table or bed linens, sofas and chairs detailing the selected upholstery.  We're excited to be able to make your registry reflect the design plan for your home.

 

 

May I register for Gift Certificates?

Yes, Brock Moran gift certificates may be added to your registry in increments of $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200 and $250.  Gift certificates must be used to purchase items sold by Brock Moran.  Gift certificates cannot be converted to cash.

 

 

What sort of items are considered special orders?

Specialty items, such as monogrammed pieces, including china, stemware and table/bed linens may require up to six to eight weeks for delivery.  Also, our supplier’s may at times have items on back-order due to their popularity or uniqueness. We recommend that guests make their purchases as early as possible to ensure their gift arrives prior to the event.

 

 

If I request several place settings of my china pattern, will they all match?

Due to the handmade nature and firing techniques used in the making of fine china, slight color variations may result, but are uncommon. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that each piece matches the original sample from which the registrant made their selection. If obvious differences are identified by our registry specialists or brought to our attention by the registrant, we will return the item to the supplier in an exchange for a correct match.

 

 

Why are some items missing pictures?

It is our goal to have all products thoroughly described with an accompanying picture.  Unfortunately, there are times when we are waiting on product photography from a supplier, or the item was recently added and we are working on uploading a picture.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your guests.  You may send an email to info@brockmoran.com  to make us aware of an issue with a product description or missing picture and we will do our best to resolve the issue in a timely fashion.

 

 

Managing My Registry

 

Can I edit my registry online?   

Yes, you can edit your registry at your convenience online at anytime using the password you used to set up your registry. Visit our website at brockmoran.com and click on The Registry link.  From the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button and then select Update Registry.  Find your registry by entering your name and login using your password.  Welcome to your registry list. From here you may select one of the following options. You may edit your shipping addresses, names, add or remove items, change quantities etc.

  • Manage your profile.  From this area you may update the profile information entered during registration, including event information. personal and shipping information.  You may also add a personal message for your guests to read, share your gift preferences and remind your guests of special dates. Your personal messages and gift preferences are displayed to your guests on the Read Messages page within the Gift A Gift option.

  • View your registry. View items in your registry, change quantity requested or remove items

  • Select products. Add items to your registry

  • Bookmark gift registry. Add your registry to your list of favorites internet sites.

  • Copy and paste the gift registry link for a guest.  Selecting this option allows you to capture a direct link or URL to your registry page.  This URL can then be pasted into an email to your guests or added to a personal wedding page for example on The Knot or The Wedding Channel.

  • Print purchaser information. This option allows you to print a report of items purchased, including purchaser, purchase date and quantity.

How do I change my password?

If you need to change your password or you forgot your password, from the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button and then select Update Registry.  Find your registry by entering your name.  Select the radio button beside your registry and then click the PASSWORD button displayed in the shaded frame located on the right.  Your password will be sent to the e-mail address listed for your registry. If you did not provide an email address, please telephone us for assistance.

 

 

What happens if our event is cancelled?

You may contact us to delete your registry or you may change the Event Type to say Wish List if you wish to retain the registry.  The Event Date is also updated to an upcoming Birthday, Holiday or just some date in the future.  It's up to you.  To delete a registry, telephone or send us an email with this request.  We will need your personal registry password, your registry names and event date.

 

 

Why do prices of items in my registry change?

The products no our online registry matches the prices of products in our store. Just as prices of products in our store fluctuate due to sales promotions and periodic supplier price changes, the same is true of the products reflected in our registry.

 

 

An item on my registry is listed as "discontinued." What does that mean?

At Brock Moran, we update the products available on our online registry continuously and as a result, some items may no longer be available from a supplier or in the process of being retired. In this case, we will contact our registrants to explain that an item was discontinued, remove the item from the registry and assist you in ordering the merchandise if a limited supply is still available, or help you select an alternative item for your registry.

 

 

Your Guests

 

Can guests view my registry online?

Yes.  Guests can view your registry items online by selecting the Gift A Gift option and then searching for your registry by your name and event type/date.    During registry setup, you may specify a guest password, however, we recommend the system default of "No guests' password" as this option allows everyone to view and buy gifts from your registry. Selecting the "Yes guests' password" option, means you will need to notify your guests to use the password you assigned.  Without the password, your guests cannot view and purchase gifts from your registry.

 

 

How do our guests purchase gifts?

Your guests may purchase gifts from your registry online at anytime 24 hours/day, in-person by visiting our store in Charlotte, NC or by contacting us via telephone (704.341.6264)  or email (info@brockmoran.com). The simplest method is probably online at your guest's convenience.  A guest can view the items in your registry and select an item that has not been fulfilled.  To purchase online, a guest visits our website at brockmoran.com and clicks on The Registry link.  From the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button and finally the Give a Gift option.  Your guest searches for your registry by your last name, views your list of items, adds an item(s) to their cart and completes their purchase using a credit card on our secured network.

 

 

Do you provide registry enclosure cards?

Yes, we provide complimentary registry enclosure cards in packages of 25 designed to politely tell your guests where you are registered.  Enclosure Cards are a simple, understated way to let your guests know how to make your wedding wishes all come true. They're perfect for slipping into engagement party invitations, engagement announcements, save-the-date letters or shower invitations. Sharing your gift preferences with your guests can sometimes feel awkward, but with an elegant design, you can feel confident knowing you're providing your guests with information they'll appreciate in an etiquette-perfect (and stylish) way. My guests and I live outside of North Carolina. Can I still register at Brock Moran?

Absolutely! Due to the online nature of the Brock Moran registry, it is accessible from anywhere in the United States given the registrant has internet access.  Gifts can be shipped to the registrant or the purchaser.

 

 

Can I display a personal messages and gift preferences to my guests?

Yes.  On the Manage your profile page, you may add personal messages to your guests to read, share your gift preferences and remind your guests of special dates. Your personal messages and gift preferences are displayed to your guests on the Read Messages page within the Gift A Gift option.

 

 

How do our guests know we are registered with Brock Moran Registry?

After you create your registry, you should email your friends and family an announcement. Include a link in the email directing your guests to your registry and if you have a existing event website, add the registry link there too.  To capture a registry link for your registry, access the Manage your profile page and click on the Copy and paste the gift registry link for a guest.  If you have a wedding website, there should be a page specifically for specifying where you are registered. You may be able to add your registry link directly to your website.  Another option, and our personal favorite... we provide complimentary registry enclosure cards to hand out or insert in shower or pre-wedding party invitations.

 

 

Status

 

How soon is my gift registry updated to reflect purchases made?

If a purchase is made online, the quantity "Received" is updated immediately within the Registry.  If a registry purchase is made in-person within the store, the registry is updated by the sales associate during or immediately following the completion of the purchase.

 

 

How do we know when gifts have been purchased?

Visit our website at brockmoran.com and click on The Registry link.  From the registry welcome page, click on the Wedding & Gift Registry button and then select Update Registry.  Find your registry by entering your name and login using your password.  From the "Welcome to your registry list" page, click on the Print purchaser information option. This option allows you to print a report of items purchased, including purchaser, purchase date and quantity.  This is a great way to track who to thank for the pair of champagne flutes or the guests who purchased your exquisite china!

 

 

How long can a registry remain active after the event date has passed?

You can keep your registry open for as long as you like. You are in complete control of your registry at all times. For example, some wedding registrants change the event type from "Wedding" to "Wish List" after the wedding has passed.  The Event Date is also updated to an upcoming Birthday, Holiday or just some date in the future.  It's up to you.  If you wish to delete your registry, contact us via telephone or email with this request.  We will need your personal registry password, your registry names and event date.  Typically, if no purchasing activity has occurred beyond 13 months of the event date, the registry is removed.

 

 

Purchasing Options

 

Will my orders be gift boxed?

Our signature gift wrapping is included for $3.  All items will have prices removed and depending on the size of the item, it will be presented in a Brock Moran signature gift box, tissue paper, our silver embossed seal, and a hand tied white grosgrain bow. If the item is too large, we apologize that it won't be boxed, but a signature Brock Moran gift card will accompany the piece.

 

 

 

Is there a gift card enclosed with the item purchased?

Yes, we insert a a Brock Moran signature gift card hand written with the purchaser's name and personal message provided during their online purchase.

 

 

Shipping

 

What are the delivery charges for furniture items?

Deliver charges vary based on the location of your home, the number of furniture pieces purchased and the total amount of the sale.  An estimate for delivery is included on the purchase proposal provided to you at the time your furniture selections are made.

 

 

Do you offer in-store pickup?

Yes. In-store pickup is recommended. Purchasing a gift online and opting for in-store pickup allows your gifts to be collected and stored safely at Brock Moran. Our registrants have the option of specifying a preference for in-store pickup in their registry profile and this preference is indicated when making an online purchase. 

 

 

Can I specify a P.O. Box or non-US address for a gift registry?

No.  We are unable to support a P.O. Box or a non-US address for any registry.

 

 

Returns

 

May I return a gift if I receive duplicate gifts?

We make every effort to ensure the quantity requested of an item is not exceeded.  In the event two people purchase the same item from Brock Moran, we will first validate the duplication from the information you provide us about the item and the purchaser's names.  After being validated, we will gladly take back the item and allow you to exchange the item for other merchandise or receive a Brock Moran Gift certificate.
